Merry Christmas!

Emma's Birthday and Halloween

Trick or Treating with Nathan and Ruthie. Emma loved that she got candy at all the houses. Leah liked that too and everyone thought she was the cutest little bee. Emma doesn't seemed bothered at all that Halloween is her birthday, I think she loves it. She picked black plates and napkins for her birthday party because it is a Halloween color. I think the funniest thing she said this Halloween was calling her jack'o lantern a jack'o man. Everytime we went to Grandma Claudia's she would say "Hi Jack'o man!"





Emma with her cindrella cake Grandma Flo made. She smiles just like uncle Spencer did at her age. Emma loved opening her presents, but didn't eat any cake she was too busy playing with her new princess castle.

Visiting the Baby Elephant

Today we went to the zoo to see the baby elephant. She is really cute! I tried taking pictures but getting both of them to look at the same time and get Leah to sit still is nearly impossible! Emma loves riding the carousel and Leah seemed to enjoy it too until it actually started moving, then she wanted me to hold her.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our five year anniversary. I can hardly believe it has been five years. So much has changed since we got married but I think we are happier now then we were then, which at the time seemed impossible. Hopefully in five more years we won't still be in school and I am not planning on doubling the size of our family again in the next five years to come. Time passes so quickly and I am so glad we have each other to enjoy it with!

Nine Months Old!

I can't believe it, Leah is 9 months old today. The time has flown by. She is crawling everywhere now. She especially likes to crawl into corners and tight spaces and then whines because she gets stuck. She stands on everything that will hold and some things that will not. 2 days ago she discovered she could push Emma' s step stool around and walk slowly behind it! She seems determined to walk soon. She and Emma love each other and Leah loves to give Emma kisses and especially loves to chase Emma around the house trying to take her toys away! She is always happy and eager to play with anyone. The first picture is from this morning and the other picture is from about a week ago but I just loved it so I had to add it.

Easter

So I am a little behind, but I really liked some of these Easter pictures so I thought I would share them even though it was a month ago!

Princess Party

Tonight Grant went to priesthood session and the girls stayed home and had a princess party. We watched Enchanted, painted our toenails and crimped our hair. We had alot of fun pampering ourselves!

Bowling at the Union

This week Spencer and McKay had Spring Break so we all went bowling Wednesday at the Union. It was tons of fun. Emma really liked her Orange bowling ball and helping Grandpa bowl.

Prunes!

Leah loves to grab anything but especially her food. The other night I was feeding her prunes and had to stop and help Emma go potty and left the prunes on the tray. When I came back Leah had dumped them all out and was having a grand time playing in it!

Playing outside

Emma and Leah both love to play on the swings outside. Emma especially loves to play outside without her shoes on!

Leah 6 months old at the zoo

Can you believe it, Leah is 6 months olds already! To celebrate and enjoy the good weather the girls and I went to the zoo. Leah loved riding in the stroller and Emma especially enjoyed the giraffes, rhinoceros (which she kept calling a hippo), and the train.

St. Patricks Day

Sorry it has been awhile since we updated. We have had sick kids for a couple of weeks but everyone seems to be doing well this week and best of all they are sleeping all night in their own beds! Here are some pictures of Leah, Emma decided she wanted to help take pictures instead of be in them.

Valentines Day!

This was Leah's first Valentines Day. We wanted a picture of them together on the floor but Leah kept rolling over before we could get both of them to look at the camera. It was pretty funny. Emma would roll her back onto her tummy and then we would try to get Emma to look and Leah would roll over again. By the end we were all laughing!

Cookie Decorating

Friday after the temple we decorated cookies with all our cousins. We were especially glad to have Beckie, Byron and girls here from Arizona, although I didn't get any pictures of them together. Emma liked to lick the frosting off her knife and especially enjoyed dumping the sprinkles on.

Temple Open House

Friday February 13, 2009
On Friday we went to the Draper Temple Openhouse. Emma was a little tired but we had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful temple. Here are some pictures from after the tour.

Curly Sue

Curly Sue...actually Emma. On Monday we put curlers in Emma's hair and she left them in long enough that her hair had time to curl! She looked so cute, the pictures don't quite do it justice. She also enjoyed watching pink princess aka Sleeping Beauty in the comfort of Leah's carseat.

Little Mommy

Emma is turning into a little mom. She likes to play with her dolls and take care of them like I take care of Leah. This is a picture of her putting her baby in the swing. She likes to help take care of Leah too. On Sunday Leah was playing on the floor and Emma walked up and put a blanket on her, said Leah Sleepy? and started singing I am a Child of God to her. It was really cute and helped me remember what a wonderful opportunity it is to be a mom.

Leah's First Cereal

Leah started cereal for the first time about a week ago and absolutely loves it! Her whole body shakes she gets so excited to eat it.

Finally

So I decided to finally start a blog today. I have been fighting it for awhile because I didn't want to do it just because it was trendy but the more I thought about it it seemed like a good idea and might be fun too!
